Urinary incontinence (leakage of urine) (urine leakage) in men after radical prostatectomy (prostate surgery) is a devastating problem for the sufferers, it often interferes with their lifestyle and impacts their quality of life, in this video I briefly outline the management options both conservative and surgical and the incontinence products that are available in the market to help cope with this distressing problem.
Incontinence products include pads, penile clamp, external catheter or condom sheaths (conveen sheaths), underwear, pants, etc….
Conservative treatment options include pelvic floor exercises, biofeedback training, bladder training, pelvic muscle electrical stimulation.
surgical treatment options include the male sling and the artificial urinary sphincter.
